Sing Out!

Sing Out! will be performed rain or shine... there is a chance of rain on Thursday so please bring an umbrella, poncho, and/or a slicker

  • This event is in the parking lot so parking is VERY limited in the area.  We recommend that you take rideshare to the event.

  • You should be dropped off between the north and central parking lot (look for the FloSports sign and balloon arch.  You will see signs directing you to check in. (see map)

  • If you have accessibility issues the wheelchair ramp is on the South side of the development near Eastciders. – if you have any other accessibility needs please respond to this email.

  • There will be GFT volunteers staged around the property if you have questions look for a person with a Ground Floor Theatre button.

  • Temperature checks will be performed with a ‘no-touch’ thermometer.

  • If possible all members of your pod should check in together.

  • Either print out  your ticket or have it available on your device for our staff to see…  if you party is coming separately, please tell you guests to give the check in desk the name that the ticket is under.

  • Please bring your own lawn chairs as there is no seating provided in the pods

  • Pods are on a first come, first serve basis… check-in will begin at 6:30. Look for the signs that say “General Admission”

  • Per CDC guidelines you should wear a mask if you are not vaccinated (Masks are optional in your pod)

  • There are no concessions provided at the event, but you are welcome to bring your own snacks and  non-alcoholic drinks.  You are welcome to visit Austin Eastciders and/or Friends and Allies before and after the show

Six Tony and Grammy award winners and nominees perform together some of Broadway’s most inspiring and life-affirming works. Sing Out! reimagines classic Broadway tunes from Rodgers and Hammerstein and Sondheim to newer works from The Color Purple and Hadestown.

Join us for an outdoor concert as Austin Artists Project in collaboration with Ground Floor Theatre brings this production to Austin June 3, 2021 at 8:00 PM.

Seating is by pods of up to 9 people... BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR.

Tickets are pay what you can with a minimum of $25-- We recommend $150 per pod

Austin Artists Project will then take this show to The Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City in June 2022!

COVID 19 MITIGATION

  • There will be bathroom attendants (one male and one female) that will go and clean each stall and counter after use.-

  • There will be sanitation stations throughout the parking lot.

  • Anyone with known close contact to a person who is confirmed to have COVID-19 or is waiting on lab results from a COVID test, must adhere to a 14 day self-quarantine period from the last date of exposure (with an exception granted for healthcare workers and critical infrastructure workers).

  • Temperature checks via a no contact thermometer will be conducted on all staff, volunteers, and participants prior to entry of the facility.

  • All staff, volunteers, and participants must wash or sanitize their hands upon entry.

  • All staff, volunteers, and participants must make every effort to maintain at least 6 feet separation from other individuals. If such distancing is not feasible, other measures such as hand hygiene, cough etiquette, cleanliness, and sanitation should be rigorously practiced.

  • All staff, volunteers, participants, and guests must wear a face covering (over the nose and mouth) when outside of their pod.
